On February 20, 2009 Dr. Stark was joined by Dr. William Julian to present evidence at Cancer Conference that metastatic bladder cancer has become a survivable disease. This presentation can be viewed here.
On April 29 Dr. Stark gave Grand Rounds at Riverside Regional Medical Center on the subject of Osteoporosis in Youth, Aging and Illness.
Gastric Lymphoma was the subject of the presentation in August of this year. The variable presentation and clinical course was discussed.
On October 14 Dr. Stark presented a comprehensive review of Osteoporosis at Premier Fitness at Harbour View. In addition to an overview of the subject, the new monoclonal antibody Denosumab was featured.
Subsequent talks included a case of hypopituitarism in a patient with hemochromatosis, Liver Disease in Sickle Cell Anemia and Adjuvant Therapy of Malignant Melanoma.
